Marsh reports 6% Q2 2026 revenue rise as Guy Carpenter unit slips 2%

Insurance broker Marsh announced consolidated revenue of $7.4 billion for the second quarter of 2026, a 6% increase over the same period a year earlier and 5% on an underlying basis. Operating income grew 4% to $1.9 billion, while net income was $1.3 billion and earnings per share rose to $2.63 from $2.45.

The Risk and Insurance Services segment, which includes Marsh Risk and reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter, generated $4.8 billion in Q2 revenue, up 4% (3% organically). Marsh Risk contributed $4.1 billion, up 6% (4% organically), with regional underlying growth of 4% in the U.S./Canada, 5% in International markets, and double‑digit gains in EMEA, Asia‑Pacific and Latin America. Guy Carpenter’s revenue fell 2% to $664 million on both GAAP and organic bases, and was flat on an organic basis for the first half of the year.
