Marshall Dixon arrested for alleged kidnapping at Tulsa Walmart

Marshall Dixon, 50, has been arrested and charged with kidnapping following an incident at a Walmart in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to the Tulsa Police Department, the incident occurred on September 8 near 68th Street and Memorial Drive. A woman shopping with her two children was approached by a man who briefly spoke to her before allegedly removing her 1-year-old child from a shopping cart. The suspect reportedly placed the child in his own cart and attempted to walk away.

The mother confronted the man and reclaimed her child before locking herself and her children in a store bathroom to call for assistance. Walmart employees escorted the suspect from the premises and contacted emergency services.

Police located Dixon at a nearby bus stop, where he reportedly admitted to the act. He was subsequently booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
