Marshall University women's soccer begins 2026 season

The Marshall University women’s soccer team has commenced its 2026 season. The program opened its campaign at Hoops Family Field with a match against Morehead State.

Following that opener, the team is scheduled to host the Ohio Bobcats. The 2026 squad features a significant international presence, with players representing 16 different countries, the highest number in the program's history. Head coach Rafa Simoes, entering his third season, leads a roster that includes 15 newcomers and 13 returning players.
