Marshall unveils Acton IV and Stanmore IV speakers, cuts Emberton III price

Marshall announced two new home‑use Bluetooth speakers, the Acton IV and Stanmore IV, succeeding the Acton III and Stanmore III models. Both feature upgraded tweeters for a wider soundstage, redesigned bass ports for clearer low‑frequency response, and a Dynamic Loudness system that maintains power at low volumes while limiting distortion at high levels. The speakers retain Marshall’s leather‑style grille and brass control knobs, add an M‑button for quick music access, and support wired inputs (Cinch, AUX) as well as Auracast wireless linking. They are sold for €299 (Acton IV) and €399 (Stanmore IV) in black or white and are built with interchangeable components for easier repair.

In parallel, the company reduced the price of its portable Emberton III Bluetooth speaker to just under €130. The Emberton III, designed with a retro guitar‑amp aesthetic, offers IP67 water‑ and dust‑proofing, a 32‑hour battery life, and received an 8.4 rating in testing. While its sound may be outperformed by some rivals at high volumes, it remains a strong option for everyday listening at the new discount price.
