Marshall Women's Soccer defeats Troy 2-1 in conference road victory

Marshall University women's soccer secured a 2-1 road victory against Troy in conference play. The match was influenced by a red card issued to Troy in the first half, leaving Marshall with a player advantage for the final hour of play.

Larissa Ozorio scored the opening goal from a distance in the 66th minute, marking her first goal of the season. Delfina Lombardi followed with the winning goal in the 70th minute, assisted by Nerea Munoz and Madison Townes. Goalkeeper Emma Durand recorded four saves to secure the win. Marshall moves to a 5-2-3 record overall and 1-0-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.
