MARSİFED honors Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team

The Marmara and Central Anatolia Industry and Business World Federation (MARSİFED) held a ceremony to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. The event, themed around sports, took place at the Nilüfer Podyum Davet.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the ‘Republic Value Contributors Award’ to the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team, known as ‘Filenin Sultanları,’ in recognition of their achievements. The ceremony featured a ‘Republic Road’ entrance and seating arranged by the names of athletes who have represented Turkey internationally during the Republican era.

MARSİFED Chairman Osman Akın delivered an opening speech emphasizing the importance of teamwork in both sports and the business world. He noted that while companies and sectors vary, they function as a single team working toward the strength of Bursa, the Marmara region, and Turkey. Akın also referenced Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s vision of sports as a foundation for a strong society and the importance of empowering youth across all fields, including science, art, and industry.
