Marta Nawrocka faces criticism over IVF views

Marta Nawrocka, the First Lady of Poland, recently participated in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski, where she discussed her private life and her views on in vitro fertilization (IVF). During the interview, she touched upon her living arrangements at the Palace, noting that the couple maintains a private space to ensure a sense of home, and mentioned her role in managing household finances.

Following the interview, Wojciech Zięba, President of the Polish Association of Defenders of Human Life, issued a letter criticizing Nawrocka’s stance on IVF. Zięba argued that the procedure is ethically problematic, stating that the desire of parents to have children should not be equated with the rights of the child to life and health. He raised concerns regarding the creation, selection, and freezing of embryos during the process.
