Marta Ortega details daily routine and family priorities

Marta Ortega, the non-executive president of Inditex, has shared details regarding her daily routine and how she balances her professional responsibilities with family life. At 42, Ortega begins her day at 6:45 AM with a fitness session involving Pilates.

Following her morning exercise, she prioritizes breakfast with her three children and accompanying them to school before heading to the Inditex headquarters in Arteixo. Ortega noted that living in A Coruña with her husband, Carlos Torretta, and their children allows her to remain close to her family support network.

Regarding her personal interests, Ortega previously competed in show jumping, a discipline she practiced from age ten through her early professional years. She stepped away from competitive riding following the birth of her first daughter due to the time commitments required for training, though she remains connected to the equestrian world by managing a riding school and sharing competition horses.
