Marta Pintanel finishes seventh at WTCS Karlovy Vary

Spanish triathlete Marta Pintanel achieved her best international result in the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) by finishing seventh at the Karlovy Vary event in the Czech Republic. Pintanel maintained a strong position following a high-performing swimming leg and managed to navigate a difficult cycling course to secure her place among the elite competitors.

In the women's race, Great Britain's Georgia Taylor-Brown took first place, followed by Taylor Spivey of the United States in second and Lisa Tertsch of Germany in third. In the men's category, Antonio Serrat was the top Spanish finisher, placing 16th, while Pelayo González finished 33rd.

The Karlovy Vary competition serves as a precursor to the WTCS Grand Final in Pontevedra.
