Marta Riesco replaces Alba Carrillo on 'El Sótano Club
Marta Riesco has debuted as the new presenter of the TEN program 'El Sótano Club' following the departure of Alba Carrillo. The transition follows a period of uncertainty and a breakdown in the professional relationship between Carrillo and the production company, Dollhouse.
According to a statement released by the production company and read by Riesco during the broadcast, Carrillo informed management of her intention to leave the project on October 14. On October 15, an episode of tension occurred on set, during which Carrillo reportedly left the program without prior notice to the direction. This incident led the network and production team to cancel the scheduled broadcast for Friday, October 16, to protect the staff and ensure production stability.
While the production company stated they respect Carrillo's professional decision to leave, Carrillo has announced intentions to pursue legal action regarding matters involving data protection and the disclosure of private documents.
