Ville Aperte in Brianza returns with AI assistant and 240 cultural sites

The autumn 2026 edition of ‘Ville Aperte in Brianza’ is scheduled to run from September 19 to October 4. Promoted by the Province of Monza and Brianza, the event features over 240 cultural sites and monuments across 92 municipalities in the Lombardy region, including the provinces of Monza and Brianza, Milan, Varese, Lecco, and Como.

A notable technological addition to this edition is ‘Virgilia’, a multilingual AI digital assistant developed by Brescia-based Gruppo L&T. The tool is designed to provide real-time information via text and voice to help visitors navigate routes and access event details.

Specific itineraries include visits to Marian sanctuaries in the Martesana area, such as those in Vimodrone, Cernusco sul Naviglio, Gorgonzola, and Inzago. Other participating locations include Villa Taverna in Canonica and the Oratorio ‘La Rotonda’ in Tregasio. Additionally, the national ‘Monumenti Aperti’ initiative will run from September 19 to November 8, offering free visits to 800 monuments across 85 Italian municipalities.
