Martha and Blanca Galdos to honor Alicia Maguiña in Barranco

Singers Martha Galdos and Blanca Galdos will perform a musical tribute to Peruvian composer Alicia Maguiña on August 20 at the Centro Cultural Balconcito in Barranco. The event, titled "Especial Alicia Maguiña," is part of "La Jarana de Chalena."

The tribute follows the recent designation of Maguiña's work as National Cultural Heritage of Peru. The performance aims to introduce her repertoire to new generations and celebrate her significant contributions to the country's musical identity.
