Martha Schultz outlines Economic Chamber reforms and levy reductions

Martha Schultz, President of the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKÖ), is leading a comprehensive reform process aimed at streamlining organizational structures and reducing personnel. A key component of this reform is the gradual reduction of the chamber levy, with a goal to provide an annual financial relief of 100 million euros to member companies across Austria starting in 2030.

During a meeting with over 130 entrepreneurs in Tyrol, Schultz and regional leaders discussed critical economic issues including competitiveness, skilled labor shortages, and the need for effective interest representation. The discussions emphasized the importance of a strong regional voice within the national economic framework to address the specific needs of Tyrolean businesses.
