Martial arts championships held in Jacarezinho and Varginha

Several martial arts competitions were held in Brazil on September 27. In Jacarezinho, the Dojô Shotokan celebrated its 26th anniversary with a unique championship that brought together karate and taekwondo athletes. Organized by Sensei Paulo Alexandre Crispim, the event utilized karate regulations for all competitors, facilitating technical exchange between different disciplines. Participants traveled from Curitiba, Ponta Grossa, and Ourinhos to compete in Kata and Kumite categories.

In Varginha, the city hosted the 1st Minas Gerais Kyokushin Karate Championship KWU SENSHI at the Estação Cidadania Gymnasium. The event, organized by Sensei Rafael Pereira Lima and supported by the Municipal Secretariat of Sport and Leisure (SEMEL), featured 25 athletes from Minas Gerais and São Paulo. Competitors participated in Kata and Kumite disciplines, with the event also including an opening performance by the CDCA Orchestra.
