Martin Campbell and Dan Gordon discuss thriller ‘Just Play Dead’

Director Martin Campbell and writer Dan Gordon have shared insights into the upcoming action-thriller ‘Just Play Dead’, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Green.

The film is described as a darkly comedic, Coen Brothers-esque film noir. The plot follows Jack Wolfe (Jackson), a wealthy criminal attempting to fake his death to evade federal authorities, while his wife Nora (Green) plots to kill him to claim his life insurance money.

Writer Dan Gordon noted that the story was inspired by a mansion he saw while on vacation in Hawaii and was originally written as a novel before being adapted into a screenplay.
