Martin Ødegaard shows improved morale after injury struggles

Helene Spilling has shared insights into the personal impact of professional football on her husband, Martin Ødegaard, following a period of injury and professional challenges. Spilling noted that Ødegaard is currently in good spirits now that his physical health has stabilized and his performance on the pitch has improved.

After a difficult period marked by injuries during Norway’s 2025 World Cup qualification campaign and a challenging season with Arsenal, Ødegaard has seen a recent resurgence. This includes a strong start to the 2026/2027 season with Arsenal, featuring goals in the Community Shield against Manchester City and the league opener against Coventry. Spilling mentioned that his ability to separate professional frustrations from home life remains a strength.

Spilling is currently promoting her participation in the NRK program ‘Mesternes mester’, where she will compete alongside former wrestler Stig André Berge.
