Martin Freeman reveals marriage to Rachel Benaissa

British actor Martin Freeman has revealed that he married French screenwriter and producer Rachel Benaissa. The news was confirmed by a representative for the actor following the couple's appearance on the red carpet at the London Film Festival.

Freeman, known for his roles in Sherlock, The Office, and The Hobbit, has been connected to Benaissa since 2020. While reports suggest the marriage may have taken place earlier this year, the details remained private until the premiere of the film A Long Winter, where the couple was observed wearing wedding rings.

Benaissa, who was born in Toulouse and raised in London, has appeared in productions such as Normal People, This Way Up, and Irish Wish. Together, the couple also co-founded the production company One Trick Poné.
