Martin Freeman to voice Gromit in new audiobook

Martin Freeman has been selected to provide the voice for Gromit, the famously mute claymation dog from the Wallace & Gromit franchise, for the audiobook edition of the character's upcoming autobiography.

The book, titled ‘Grand: The Autobiography Of Gromit: as told to Nick Park’, will feature the dog’s inner thoughts and insights. Creator Nick Park noted that Freeman will not use a specific character voice, but will instead read the text with his natural style to convey Gromit’s witticisms and personality.

The audiobook is scheduled for release on October 22. Additionally, a behind-the-scenes immersive experience titled ‘Larger Than Life’ is set to open on October 14 at the Lightroom in King’s Cross, London.
