Martin Ho wins WSL Manager of the Month for Tottenham Women

Tottenham Hotspur Women head coach Martin Ho has been named the Women’s Super League Manager of the Month for September. The award recognizes a productive opening period where the squad successfully integrated new players and executed tactical adjustments to secure vital points.

Statistical analysis shows a significant improvement in the team's offensive output compared to the previous season, with goals scored more than doubling in the first five games. The team has demonstrated high attacking pressure, recording high shot volumes and expected goals (xG) metrics. Dutch international Victoria Pelova has emerged as a key finisher, contributing five goals and one assist during this period.

Despite the strong start, the team faced a setback in October following a defeat against the London City Lionesses in cup competition, which Ho described as a reality check for the squad.
