Martin Kamburov celebrates 46th birthday

Bulgarian football legend Martin Kamburov is celebrating his 46th birthday. The striker, widely known as ‘The Emperor’, holds the record as the all-time top scorer in the Bulgarian elite league with 256 goals.

Kamburov played 456 matches in the top division, ranking second all-time for appearances. During his career with Lokomotiv Plovdiv, he scored 154 goals, helping the team secure the Bulgarian championship and the Supercup in 2004, as well as a bronze medal in 2005.

Both PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv and the ‘100 Years of Lokomotiv Plovdiv Foundation’ issued tributes to the former player, praising his contributions to the club and Bulgarian football.
