Martin Kpebu urges Ghana government to seek US accountability for Javits Frimpong death

Legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has called on the Ghanaian government to maintain diplomatic pressure on United States authorities following the death of Ghanaian national Javits Frimpong.

Speaking on TV3, Kpebu endorsed the actions of Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, noting that the government and the Ghanaian people have expressed significant dissatisfaction regarding the incident. While acknowledging the complexities of American gun violence debates and interest groups, Kpebu urged sustained engagement to ensure accountability and potential compensation for the affected families.

Kpebu emphasized that while financial settlements cannot replace a human life, they could provide relief to the bereaved. He noted that the administration of President John Dramani Mahama and diplomatic representatives in the US are best positioned to pursue further information and an appropriate response to the case.
