Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg hosts teacher training event

Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) is hosting its third annual ‘Herbst-Uni Lehramt’ from October 21 to 23, 2026. The event is designed to provide insights into teaching professions and teacher training programs.

Targeting students from the 10th grade and up, as well as high school graduates from across Germany, the program features over 30 offerings. Participants can explore various subjects for primary, special, secondary, and grammar schools. The initiative allows attendees to receive individual counseling, develop skills, and engage in discussions with current students, faculty, and practicing teachers.

Developed in cooperation with Halle city marketing, the program also includes activities to introduce participants to the city as a potential future study location. The format previously received the ‘Hochschulperle des Monats’ award from the Stifterverband in 2024.
