Martin Meier elected to Böztal municipal council

Martin Meier has been elected to the municipal council of Böztal following a second round of voting. In the runoff, Meier secured 453 votes, defeating competitor Roger Frey, who received 288 votes.

The second round was necessitated because no candidate achieved sufficient support during the initial election in June. Meier’s victory marks a significant surge in support, as he had previously placed third in the first round with only 172 votes. His election ensures representation for the Elfingen district on the council.
