Martin O’Neill considers future at Celtic amid recent defeats

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill is considering his future following a difficult run of results, including a 1-0 defeat to Rangers and a Europa League loss to Ferencváros. After three consecutive defeats, the 74-year-old manager indicated he would use the international break to reflect on his position.

Former Celtic player Paul Lambert stated he would not be surprised if O’Neill chose to leave, noting that the club would likely allow him to make his own decision given his significant history and goodwill with supporters. Conversely, former midfielder Peter Grant has expressed support for O’Neill, suggesting the manager has the character to turn the club's fortunes around if he decides to stay.
