Martin Ortega, the eldest son of Argentine singer Palito Ortega and actress Evangelina Salazar, ended a nearly twelve‑month involuntary stay at a specialized clinic after being hospitalized in April 2025 for serious mental‑health and addiction problems. Following a court order, he received treatment for a critical addiction, which he later described in an Instagram post, thanking supporters and urging others facing similar struggles to seek help.

After his recovery, Ortega shared a glimpse of his father’s family home, highlighting a warmly decorated wooden study that contains a grand piano, personal photographs, music memorabilia and a custom bookshelf. He called the space his favorite spot in the house and posted photos of the interior on his social media accounts.
