Martin Rütter’s team assists owners with problematic dog Chinou

In a new episode of the television program ‘Der Hundeprofi - Rütters Team’, owners Peter and Gerda seek assistance for their 30-kilogram dog, Chinou. Despite finding a ‘late great love’ in the pet, the owners have faced extreme frustration due to the dog’s behavior during walks, which included pulling their owner to the ground and causing significant distress.

After previous training attempts failed, the couple turned to trainer Sophie Schäfer. Schäfer identified that the dog was constantly seeking stimulation. To address the pulling behavior, Schäfer implemented a training method using a ‘Reizangel’ (lure toy) to help the owner manage the dog’s focus and movement while on a leash.
