Martina Schindlerová on SuperStar fame, law doctorate and new music projects

Martina Schindlerová, the Slovak singer who rose to fame as a 16‑year‑old finalist on the 2004 SuperStar talent show, recounted the intense fan mania that accompanied the competition, including fans sleeping outside her apartment and the forced disconnection of telephone lines. After the show's final euphoria she chose to withdraw from the spotlight and later studied law, eventually earning a doctorate.

In the interview she discussed her current musical direction, collaborating with the Cimbal Brothers to blend Slovak folk motifs with the James Bond hit "Skyfall" and releasing a new original song, "Umenie ženy," whose video was shot in the natural landscape of the Orava region. She also addressed the shift away from physical CD releases in favor of single‑track streaming on social media platforms.
