Martina Voss-Tecklenburg appointed FC Zürich women's head coach

Martina Voss-Tecklenburg has officially returned to coaching as the new head coach of the FC Zürich women's team. This marks her first coaching role in approximately three years following her departure as the German national team coach in 2023.

During her presentation at the FC Zürich Home of Football, Voss-Tecklenburg revealed that she had received numerous offers over the past two years, including roles as a sporting director and opportunities in various international locations such as Mexico, China, and Africa. She also disclosed that an ambitious regional league club in Germany had approached her with an offer in men's football, though she ultimately chose the Zurich project because it aligned best with her personal life and proximity to her family in Düsseldorf.

Her tenure with FC Zürich is intended to focus on winning titles, developing talent, and preparing players for national team selection. She is scheduled to begin her work following the upcoming international break.
