Martinengo celebrates local potato variety and culinary heritage

The town of Martinengo recently hosted the “Festa della Patata d’autore,” a celebration of the local potato variety featuring tastings, themed dinners, and exhibitions of vintage agricultural machinery.

Mayor Pasquale Busetti highlighted the town's agricultural importance, noting that Martinengo is a significant agricultural hub in the province. A central highlight of the event was a show cooking session held in memory of Chicco Coria, a prominent figure in Bergamasco gastronomy.

The festivities, organized by the municipal administration in collaboration with the local Pro loco, aimed to promote local products and agricultural heritage.
