Martinique festival celebrates 20 years of storytelling

The international festival ‘Contes et Musique dans la Cité’ will celebrate its 20th edition in Martinique from October 6 to 18, 2026. Led by storyteller and artistic director Valer’Egouy and the Association Martinique Images (AMI), the event aims to circulate narratives, languages, and emotions through the region.

This anniversary edition will feature artists from the ‘Pratique du Conte’ workshop, including Angie G, Daniel C, Gladys A, Judes D, Kati, and MGG, alongside other invited guests. However, the Association Martinique Images has announced that this 20th edition will be the last due to a lack of financial resources.
