Martinrea celebrates 25 years of manufacturing operations in Querétaro

Martinrea celebrated 25 years of operations in Querétaro, Mexico, marking a quarter-century of manufacturing growth and industrial development in the region. During the anniversary event, company leadership highlighted the evolution of their local plants, which have transitioned from producing small components to manufacturing some of the group’s most complex parts.

Fred Di Tostó, president of Martinrea, noted that the Querétaro facilities are recognized within the company for their innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. Executive Vice President of the Aluminum Division, Juan Pedro Santos, added that the local operations have significantly increased in production complexity over the decades.

Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, the Secretary of Sustainable Development, praised the company for contributing to the state’s competitiveness by generating knowledge, developing local capabilities, and providing employment opportunities. He emphasized that the long-term presence of such companies helps strengthen Querétaro’s industrial vocation.
