Martín Ciccotello remains Unión La Calera manager

Argentine manager Martín Ciccotello will remain in charge of Unión La Calera despite the club's difficult performance in the Chilean Primera División. Following a 1-0 defeat against Deportes La Serena, which extended the team's winless streak to 11 matches, Ciccotello's departure appeared imminent.

After a telemetric meeting with club owner Ricardo Pini and the club's board, the decision was made to retain the coach. This decision was reportedly influenced by the players of the squad, who expressed their support for Ciccotello to the management.

Unión La Calera currently sits at the bottom of the league table, facing a serious risk of relegation. Ciccotello has already resumed training with the squad at the Mantagua sports complex as the team prepares for their upcoming match against O’Higgins in Rancagua.
