Martín Gil elected president of Novas Xeracións in Ourense

Martín Gil has been elected president of the Novas Xeracións (NNXX) of the PP in Ourense, securing 98.5% of the votes during the organization's IX Provincial Congress. Gil, an IT engineer and professor, had previously led the group as interim president following the resignation of Nacho Campo.

During the event, which was attended by over 200 people, PPdeG General Secretary Paula Prado praised the new leadership, describing the youth wing as a committed group that operates “without banners, without noise and without radicalisms.” She emphasized the importance of youth mobilization for the upcoming elections on November 29.

Gil stated his goal is to ensure that no young person in Ourense feels that politics does not apply to them, focusing on issues such as housing access and emigration. Provincial president Luis Menor also spoke, encouraging young members to engage in municipal politics as a foundation for their future roles within the party.
