Martín León and María Emilia Antille win 10th San Juan International Marathon

The 10th edition of the San Juan International Marathon attracted more than 6,000 runners across the 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 5 km distances. In the elite men’s race, Martín León of Esquel, Chubut, claimed victory with a time of 2 h 30 m 38 s, while in the women’s race María Emilia Antille of Santa Fe finished first in 2 h 58 m 17 s.

León praised the course and the cheering spectators, saying, "The crowd really motivated me in the final stretch". Antille highlighted the challenging early kilometers but expressed satisfaction with her preparation and results. The race showcased a strong regional turnout, with most podium spots going to athletes from outside San Juan, underscoring the event’s growing prestige in Argentine athletics.
