Martyna Szczygieł prepares for flyboarding world championships

Martyna Szczygieł, a 17-year-old athlete from Darłowo, is preparing to compete in the flyboarding world championships in Spain. The competition is scheduled to take place in two weeks.

Szczygieł is transitioning her athletic expertise from acrobatics to flyboarding, a discipline where athletes use high-pressure water jets to hover above the water and perform aerial maneuvers. She has trained in acrobatics for eight years, which she credits for her ability to control her body and manage rotations during water-based tricks.

This is not her first international success; in 2018, she and her sister Malwina won a world title in fitness acrobatics at the V Grand Prix Fitness Aleksandra Kobelak.
