Marugen Ramen to open new location in Akita City

Marugen Ramen is scheduled to open a new location in Akita City, Akita Prefecture, in late December 2026. The restaurant will be situated on the site of the former Lawson Akita Izumi Nan-chome store, which is slated to close on February 27, 2026.

Operated by Monogatari Corporation, the establishment will feature a variety of seating options including counter, table, and tatami-style seating. The restaurant is expected to hire approximately 60 opening staff members.
