Marvel actors Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans share MCU updates

Chris Hemsworth has confirmed that his tenure as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will conclude following the release of ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. Having joined the franchise in 2011, Hemsworth has been a central figure in the saga, evolving the character through various tonal shifts from Shakespearean tragedy to comedy.

Meanwhile, Chris Evans has revealed details regarding the secrecy surrounding the production of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. During an appearance at Fan Expo Boston, Evans explained that Marvel used code names to prevent leaks. To maintain anonymity, his character was referred to as ‘Luke Cage’ on call sheets and during set communications. Evans also noted that he maintained privacy during filming in London by staying in remote locations away from the studio.
