Marvel and Sony Keep Venom‑Spider‑Man Crossover Open

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige and Sony Pictures producer Amy Pascal said on the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast that the possibility of a cinematic crossover between Spider‑Man (Tom Holland) and Venom (Tom Hardy) remains under discussion. While no official confirmation has been made, both executives indicated that the idea is still being considered for future projects.

At San Diego Comic‑Con, Marvel announced two new comic series for the fall. The Venom title, written by Charles Soule with art by Davide Paratore, will launch on 14 October and reunites Eddie Brock with the symbiote. The second series, "Friendly Neighborhood Mary Jane," written by Ashley Allen and illustrated by Phil Noto, debuts on 4 November and follows Mary Jane Watson as she runs her own production company while confronting the villain Camaleón.
