Marvel Studios will re‑release the 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame on September 25 under the new title Avengers: Endgame: Encore. The version adds a custom introduction, additional footage and an exclusive end tag that will appear only in Infinity Vision‑certified or IMAX theatres, serving as a narrative bridge to the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday slated for December 18.

The studio is also using the re‑release to reinvigorate the MCU after Endgame, which left the franchise seeking new direction.
