Marvel announces creative lineup for Amazing Spider-Man #1000

Marvel has announced the creative lineup and preview details for the milestone comic book Amazing Spider-Man #1000, scheduled for release on September 30, 2026. The anniversary issue features a variety of stories from high-profile creators.

Notable contributors include Joe Kelly and Pepe Larraz, who will provide the main story involving the fate of Aunt May and the introduction of a new villain, Ravage. The issue also features a debut writing credit for WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, who will collaborate with artist Ed McGuinness on a story titled ‘The Big Night’.

Other featured segments include ‘Still Standing’ by Noah Hawley and Patrick Gleason, ‘Requiem for a Goblin’ by J. M. DeMatteis and Humberto Ramos, and ‘Tears of the Spider-Queen’ by Frank Miller and Peach Momoko. Additional stories will be penned by Brian Michael Bendis, Dan Slott, and Larry Lieber. The publication will also include an interview with actor Tom Holland and director Destin Daniel Cretton.
