Marvel announces Fugitive X-Force limited series

Marvel has announced a new five-issue limited series titled ‘Fugitive X-Force’, scheduled for release this December. Written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Áthila Fabbio, the series serves as a direct continuation of the ‘Inglorious X-Force’ storyline.

The plot follows the mutant strike team as they become fugitives after being framed for a horrific crime. With their leader, Cable, missing and his mind reportedly compromised, founding member Boom-Boom (Tabitha Smith) steps up to lead the team for the first time. The new squad includes Domino, Ms. Marvel, Archangel, and Hellverine, who must operate from the shadows to clear their names and locate Cable.

Writer Tim Seeley noted that the series is a natural extension of the current saga, focusing on the ramifications of recent events as the team struggles to survive while being hunted by authorities.
