Marvel Announces 'March to Hulk War' Four-Part Infernal Hulk One-Shot Series

At the San Diego Comic‑Con Next Big Thing panel, Marvel unveiled a four‑part oversized one‑shot series that will bridge the ongoing Infernal Hulk storyline to the planned 2027 Hulk War crossover. The series, titled “March to Hulk War,” features:

• Infernal Hulk vs. Wolverine #1 (release 9 September), illustrated by Jonas Scharf. • Infernal Hulk vs. Fantastic Four #1 (release 14 October), illustrated by Cian Tormey. • Infernal Hulk vs. Spider‑Man #1 (release November), illustrated by Javier Pina. • Infernal Hulk vs. Avengers #1 (release December), artist pending.

Writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson explained that the demonic incarnation of Hulk, now controlled by the ancient evil known as the Eldest, is assembling a twisted “Infernal Avengers” team as it wreaks havoc across the Marvel Universe. He said, “MARCH TO HULK WAR kicks off the final act of our story that Nic Klein and I started with Incredible Hulk #1 in 2023.” The one‑shots are designed to be self‑contained battles that heighten the horror tone of the upcoming event, culminating in a decisive showdown before the larger Hulk War storyline launches in 2027.
