Marvel announces Wolverine: Origin III – The Dark Age miniseries

Marvel Comics has announced ‘Wolverine: Origin III – The Dark Age’, a five-issue limited series written by Paul Jenkins and illustrated by CAFU. The project marks Jenkins’ return to the character following his work on the original 2001 ‘Wolverine: Origin’ miniseries.

Set in the 1950s, the story explores a previously untold chapter of Logan’s life following his service in the first two World Wars. The narrative focuses on a period where the character appears to have found peace and tranquility before the events leading to the Weapon X program. The series is described as a psychologically driven tale that examines Logan’s mind, memories, and the impact of his traumatic experiences during that decade.

The first issue is scheduled for release in December 2026.
