Marvel confirms plot leak and new footage for upcoming Avengers: Doomsday

Entertainment commentator John Campea validated a February‑leaked document as the full plot outline for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, describing a storyline where Steve Rogers lives with Peggy in the Fantastic Four’s universe, Incursions draw heroes together and Doctor Doom ultimately conquers the Multiverse.

New details about the film’s opening sequence emerged, indicating additional reshoot footage featuring X‑Men versus Incursions, Steve’s life with Peggy, Doctor Doom’s arrival with the Fantastic Four, and Thor meeting the team in New Asgard. The Russo brothers said the extra scenes will be critical to the plot.

A separate rumor claims Benedict Cumberbatch will portray Boris, Doctor Doom’s sidekick, wielding a sling ring as a wizard. The movie, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is slated for worldwide release on December 18, 2026.
