Marvel creators reunite for Jessica Jones: Alias anniversary series

Marvel Comics has announced that original creators Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos are reuniting for a new five-issue comic series titled ‘Jessica Jones: Alias’. Scheduled for release in December 2026, the series commemorates the 25th anniversary of the character’s debut in the original ‘Alias’ run in 2001.

The plot follows Jessica Jones as she investigates the disappearance of a child she suspects is a mutant. This investigation is expected to take her on a global journey to diverse locations, including Latveria and the Savage Land. Bendis noted that the story will explore how Jessica’s character and her sense of responsibility have evolved, while also touching upon her complex family dynamics with Luke Cage and their children.

The series will feature covers by artist David Mack.
