Marvel promotes Avengers: Doomsday in Japan and announces Deadpool crossover

Marvel Studios is expanding its promotional efforts for the upcoming film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. In separate comic book developments, Marvel has announced a new crossover storyline titled ‘Big Guns’. Starting September 2, 2026, Deadpool and Frank Castle, known as the Punisher, will face off in a four-part arc spanning ‘Wade Wilson: Deadpool #8’ and ‘Punisher #8’. While the comic storyline is not officially connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are speculating on potential overlaps following recent character appearances in related media.
