Marvel promotional material features Steve Rogers in Avengers: Doomsday

New promotional footage for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has confirmed the return of Steve Rogers, portrayed by Chris Evans. A preview released during the World Series shows Rogers interacting with Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, in a scene that references Rogers' ability to wield the hammer Mjolnir.

The footage includes humorous dialogue between the characters and features interactions with Sam Wilson and Scott Lang (Ant-Man). While the visual presence of the former Captain America is confirmed, Marvel Studios has not yet provided an official explanation for his return following the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

Fan speculation has emerged regarding the character's true identity, with some theories suggesting the figure could be Loki in disguise. These theories cite Rogers' interactions with Thor and his reaction to being addressed as Captain America, noting that Loki has previously impersonated Rogers in earlier films.
