Marvel releases new teaser and promo art for VisionQuest series

Marvel Studios has released a new teaser and promotional art for the upcoming series VisionQuest. The new footage and imagery highlight the return of the villain Ultron, portrayed by James Spader, who has undergone significant changes since his appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Showrunner Terry Matalas described the series as more of a sequel to WandaVision rather than the conclusion of a trilogy. The story focuses on the synthezoid Vision as he attempts to understand his identity and origin. The plot involves Vision retreating into a mind palace to consult various AI personas, including Ultron, while being pursued by a bounty hunter and navigating a relationship with a mysterious boy, Thomas Shepard, who may be his reincarnated son.

Paul Bettany, who portrays Vision, noted that the character's journey involves existential questions regarding his purpose and nature. Matalas expressed interest in the potential for the series to extend beyond a single season.
