Marvel Studios to release VisionQuest on Disney+ in October 2026

Marvel Studios is set to release VisionQuest on Disney+ starting October 14, 2026. The series serves as the final chapter in a thematic trilogy that began with WandaVision in 2021 and continued with Agatha All Along in 2024.

Paul Bettany returns as Vision, portraying a version of the character seeking identity and purpose while living in hiding to avoid being weaponized. The plot involves Vision navigating his programming and interacting with various AI entities, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and Jarvis. A central conflict features the return of Ultron, played by James Spader, who acts as a twisted father figure to Vision.

The series will consist of eight episodes. Key cast members include Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy potentially linked to Vision's son, and Todd Stashwick as the mercenary Paladin, who is tasked with hunting Vision. The production is led by showrunner Terry Matalas and aims to bridge the narrative toward upcoming films like Avengers: Doomsday.
