Marvel Rivals, the hero‑shooter by NetEase, will roll out Season 8 on May 15. The update adds Devil Dinosaur as a Vanguard character; his large physique, force‑field shield, bleeding bite attacks and an ultimate that turns him into a charging behemoth are described. A new Doom Match map, Alchemax Headquarters, will debut on May 28 and features a rescue mission for Cyclops and Moon Girl.

Cyclops (Scott Summers) joins as the second playable hero in Season 8. The season’s “Sins of Alchemax” storyline follows Cyclops, displaced to the year 2099, as he battles the Alchemax corporation, tries to free Moon Girl, and becomes a power source for their Chronovium project. Devil Dinosaur, allied with Moon Girl, assists in attacking Alchemax’s facilities.
